Vehicles that have had this PML differential cover installed are:
- 2003 – 2006 Chevrolet SSR with automatic transmission
- 2002 – 2005 GM Envoy, except SS
- 2005 – 2009 Saab 9-7X 4.2L
We have had great feedback from many folks with SSRs, Envoys, and
a 2008 4.2L Saab 9-7X owner. Torsen differentials are found on many
other vehicles so this cover could also work on:
- 2002 – 2005 Trailblazer, except SS
- 2006 – 2007 Trailblazer EXT / Envoy XUV (except SS)
- 2002 – 2004 Olds Bravada
- 2005 Buick Renier
- 2002 – 2007 Colorado / Canyon
- Many models of Audi, Toyota, Honda, Ford, Subaru
Drain and Fill and Optional Machining
This cover has a fill hole on the top and a drain hole on the
bottom. All hardware, including a
a magnetic drain plug, is included. For an additional $40 machining fee,
this cover can be machined for a 1/8" NPT temperature sensor. The boss
centered on the right side is left unmachined. It is there for future
applications for this differential. If you would like PML to machine your cover for a temperature sensor, there is an additional charge of $40. Please include temperature sensor size in the order notes, or you may order over the phone to insure accuracy. 888-832-5248

SSR 2005, Custom Paint on Fins
Mike purchased a PML Torsen differential cover and personalized it
with black paint on the ribs and bolts. Mike reported that the PML
cover "is a very nice piece. It installed easily with no
modifications." And Mike has been told that "the cover makes the SSR
look great going down the road." Our thanks to Mike for taking the time
