USA Standard ring & pinion sets are the right choice when price is a factor and quality is essential. USA Standard Gear offers a full line of ring & pinion sets for a variety of common & hard to find applications.   USA standard gear offers a lower cost alternative to other manufacturers when price must be kept low. USA standard gears are not recommended for quiet running vehicles. USA standard gear offers a standard one year warranty against defects on their ring & pinion sets. 2010 GM 8.25 IFS use a different deck height carrier. In order to use 2009 and older gears YCG26018131 case must be used with it.  All the Bearings that are in the YK GM8.25IFS-B work fine   2010 GM 8.25IFS Front ends equipped w/ factory 3.08 gear will need a new carrier when changing ratio.  When purchasing 3.42 & up gears for a factory 3.08 application you must also purchase a YC G26018131 case with it.    Deck Height w/ 3.08 Ratio 1.780 Deck height w/ 3.42 & up Ratio 1.920
