The Duramax engine is a 6600 Diesel V8, not to mention one of the most powerful in its line. Rated at 300HP at 3100 RPM and 520 lb.-ft. of torque at 1800 RPM stock, it is able to produce up to 800HP and 1400 lb.-ft. of torque by Teaka Truck's diesel engineers. With a case hardened block, one-piece aluminum crankcase, and one-piece aluminum bell-housing to help reduce noise, vibration, and harshness, don't be surprised if it outperforms your expectations.
